There is an invisible force surrounding us all. It is the unseen wind that fans the fires of imagination and howls at the center of a swirling vortex. It once breathed life into dinosaurs and has since walked on the surface of the moon. Because of its presence we dream, love, hate and destroy. In short, we live out our lives. A gust of this force can lift the fog that shrouds the unknown. It’s gentle breeze carries with it a fond memory from childhood. It is a distant rustle of leaves in the night. It is inhaled for the first time and exhaled for the last. Don’t try to catch your breath...

Here in this little corner of the icarus-i universe is a place that’s not charted on any map. Thin Air is an anthology of dramatized audio plays, presented in the tradition of classic radio broadcasts like Lights Out and the CBS Radio Mystery Theater. Surf in and listen to tales of mystery, drama, science fiction and suspense, tales crafted to fan the fires of your imagination. The first three stories currently in production and scheduled for release as “pilot” episodes for Thin Air are:

ATOM’S EVE – A cold war era tale about the ill-fated crew of a B-36 Heavy Bomber and their encounter with the dark forces released in a flash of light and the boiling nuclear furnace of a rising mushroom cloud.

BARNSTORM – The forces of nature and the strength of the human spirit are pitted against each other in this race to the finish along a pathway of destruction. One man has an appointment to keep and to do so he must do battle with the raging winds of the most violent and destructive storm ever to cross the heartland of America.

THE PILOT –On a nostalgic trip back to a certain airfield of his youth, a man and his children come face-to-face with the past, a flight of fancy that has its beginnings on the wings of a wish.

These stories and more are coming soon to icarus-i.com.
